Beautiful Vienna

Hello, everybody!
Well, it's this time of the year again. :D (The "strawberry time". XDDD )
Namely, the year is running out, New Year's Day is approaching and with it sweet Koichi's birthday. <3<3<3
Now, since I didn't have any other plans, I decided to pay KinKi Kids a visit and congratulate him in person. ^_^v (Along with over 50.000 other people, but hey, it wouldn't look so cool on the dvd with just 10 or so people, would it? XD )
So, here I am, starting my travellogue for this year. CHEEEEERS!!!!!!! \(^o^)/
I already moved myself and all of my stuff to Vienna today, because close to all over-sea flights start here. The journey with the train was really nice and I got a little KinKi mood by watching Kimi mo Domoto Family on my mobile. ^_^
As I arrived I faced a few problems, though. First, I was (still am) packed. My big suitcase, a small suitcase, my bag for the laptop and the obligatory handbag. Now, the thing is, the main station in Vienna is currently under construction, so everybody has to get off one station prior. It's not really a big deal, but I had some problems with it. ^^" Something that was really not nice was that I couldn't get "inside", it's an entirely "open-air" station, so I had to wait outside for my metro, which was bearable but not nice. But much worse - I couldn't find a toilet. >_< Now, that was really nasty, because I had decided to go at the station, because the train toilet would have been difficult to handle with all of my stuff. For everybody, who usually travels with the Shinkansen: Train toilets in Austria are about 1/3 the size of what you're used to and it's impossible to simply leave your stuff at your seat, because it's likely not all of them will still be there as you get back. (How very much I'm looking forward to Shinkansen. ^_^ )
But back to the topic, I thought it must be a joke. No toilet at a train station?! O_o (I learned now that apparently there is one somewhere, but I really couldn't see one when I was there. XD ) I had to wait a while for the metro that took me to the centre and when it arrived I almost missed it, because it was what we call a "short train" and I was standing way up front, so I almost missed it, because I didn't see it. This was my own fault, because the info on the screen said "short train", I simply didn't think that the platform was so long I could even miss the train arriving. ^^" Well, I made it. Then, moving on to the centre. There, half-way through the building I FINALLY found a toilet. I went into the direction and as I reached the door O______o S.T.A.I.R.S. Downstairs. I was like "You've got to be f*cking kidding me @___@ !!!!!" Fortunately, there was another option. I don't usually do that, but I was desperate, so I used the toilet for hadicaped people that was right there. That really totally saved me.
When I had all of my stuff together again, I went to the late-night check-in. Now this is a service that I like. When you arrive one day prior to your flight you can check in your stuff starting 6pm in the evening. So, I did that. Now I can take a direct train to boarding tomorow, which will save me a lot of time (and allows me to write this now - otherwise I would have had to go to bed already. ^^ ) After everything was taken care of I had a quick dinner at McDonalds and then moved on to my aunt's flat, where I am allowed to stay the night. <3 This is really awesome, because it's only a few minutes walk to my train tomorrow. :D
So, now I'm here, writing this. I checked through all of my stuff and naturally I forgot a few things at home. >_<
*My cap that will keep me warm, so I'll have to buy a new one now, because it tends to be pretty windy in Nara and Kyoto.
*My gifts for Ran and Kristy. (I'm so sorry, girls!!! m(__)m )
*My tranquilizers. I'd like to have some for the flight, maybe I'll get them somewhere tomorow. Maybe.
*Several concert downloads for my mobile. I didn't chekc at home, only just saw that I only have two concert downloads on the phone. Maybe I'll get one or two tonight and copy them.
I've got everything that's really essential, which is good. Now I'll download a little something and then go to bed. I'm really tired, it was an exhausting day. I most likely won't blog tomorow, because it's likely I won't find the time, but the day after I'll give a full concert report. ^_^
Well then, good night!!! <3 See you in Tokyo. :D
