Hello, everybody!

Here's the new report. Finally. ^^ Yay. So, what did we do on Tuesday? Basically we checked out some shopping opportunities. ^^" First I wanted to visit Akihabara. I've never been there, so I wanted to seehow it feels. So right after having breakfast we set out towards Akihabara. Fortunately we didn't have to take the Yamanote line. Basically I love riding it, because it brings you just about everywhere, but the downside is that it brings people everywhere, so if the distance is a bit longer it'll take forever to get where you want to be. So, instead we simply took the Chuo line, which conveniently stops at Akihabara.

Lots and lots and lots to see... )

Hello, everybody!

I'm a bit late with this post. ^^" So there's a lot to write. Let's see how far I get. I simply decided to get something done, seeing how I totally can't sleep any longer at 6am. ^^" I always go to bed very early - or more like I simply fall into it and fall asleep at 8pm the latest. So I wake up very early. I'm still feeling the time difference, so I very quickly grow tired again, but I'll try to pull through this entire day so I can enjoy the days more easily. ^^

Hello, everybody!

Today is a day of mixed feelings for me. I'll go into detail a bit later. First off, today wasthe first day of actual sight seeing. Now, I really like sights, but I'm not used to being so... well, physically busy all the time. ^^" It was a really nice sights day, though, which is very encouraging.

So many feelings )

Hello, minna-san!!!

It's time for the traditional post from Vienna. As usual my aunt is being supportive and lets us stay at her place for the night. Thank you for having us. m(__)m  It's been a long day, but curiously, while I was really tired this morning now I feel a bit sleepless. ^^" Right after today'S shift at work we got our luggage and then made our way to the station. My mother packed a smaller suitcase this year, which is nice, because it's easier to handle. It doesn't "drive" so easily, though, but I'm just gonna handle that one for the main part.

Altogether I feel like we have way too much luggage. But then, the weather forecast keeps changing daily so I'm still not sure what kind of weather we're going to have in Tokyo. ^^" Well, what to do? SImply pack everything that you might be needing, of course. XD There's just one thing that I totally forgot: an SD card reader for my PC. I already have three of them at home - no shit - and it feels like a kind of tradition already too that I rush into an electronic market to get one of those so I can upload pictures to my daily blogs. ^^

During my late summer stay in Japan I was very lazy with the blog, but I am definitely going to write a proper one this time around and I've also decided that I want to write in detail about the food we're going to eat. :D With pics, because I got the card reader. ^^ As you might have noticed I'm also trying to work some song titles into the post headers. Let's see how well I'll be able to do it. ^^ Tonight is already not exactly accurate, because the bright red suitcase is the one that actually stayed at home and mine is orange. It sounded nice, though, so I decided to write it like this. ^^

I was really proud, though, because I really packed everything else, even my Japanese hair straightener. Of course, if you pack all of your bed clothes into the suitcase you're already checking in, you're still left with basically nothing to wear at your aunt's place. ^^" Well, it's just for tonight and I have everything else, like toothpaste and a toothbrush (which I also bought on the way to my aunt's appartment, because I kept pondering forever whether I should take the electric toothbrush or a "manual" one so ultimately I didn't pack either) and whatever else I might be needing tonight I can borrow.

Now I'm actually tired. ^^" So I'm gonna finish this post now, because I know that in about half an hour I'm gonna be all awake again. XD Please look forward to the next posts. So, have a nice day/night, everybody!!! <3<3<3

Cheers!!! ^______^

Hello, minna! :D

So,about today. As planned we visited Kamakura today. Well, it was planned that we go because we were supposed to have sunny weather, which did not quite happen, but the slightly cloudy sky and the wind were just right to make it a nice experience. At first we had trouble finding the right train that would bring us to Kamakura. I had thought of taking the Seibu Line, but then I was told that the Railway Pass doesn't cover the line, so we decided to take the JR Shinjuku Line instead. Took us about an hour to find our way around. ^^" Well, along the way I found the Mr. Donut shop again. I want to have breakfast there tomorrow. Today we had breakfast at the hotel, which is okay, but I want to go out for breakfast once.

On with the story. The ride to Kamakura took about an hour. I didn't remember that it takes so long. ^^" But it was alright. We got seats on the train, which made things quite comfortable. Once in Kamakura we wanted to go for shrine venue. The guide said that Komachi-dori leads right to it. So we tried Komachi-dori. Boy, that is a shopping street. We strolled through a lot of nice shops and bought gifts for friends and family, and some little somethings for ourselves, like a new umbrella that gets lovely patterns when it gets wet and also jewelery. It was a very nice stroll and I was so happy, because I think that is just what my mom wanted to do. So we spent quite some time there.

In the end we didn't make itto the shrine anymore. It was too far for my mom to walk and so we decided to get back instead and have lunch before visiting the Daibutsu and Hase dera. I had Donkatsu for lunch. :D Yummy. ^_^ Unfortunately my mom keeps having trouble with her stomach. I hope it's going to get better soon. As for me, I'm not used to eating anything I want at any time that I want. It's a nice change. ^^ But naturally only for holidays.

After finishing our lunch, we headed for the Daibutsu. Just as I remembered it's a breathtaking sight. It's so wonderful to see that huge statue out in the nature, towering over everything. We took our time to inspect the garden as well - and the souvenier shop, of course. We didn't spend too much time there, though, because we still wanted to move on to Hase dera. That too is an incredibly beautiful sight. The garden alone is a sight for itself. It's a lot more interesting during a warm season, of course. I very much enjoyed learning this new side of the temple. As we strode up to the observation deck we saw the most beautiful flowers and butterflies. The water that runs through the area gives such a relaxing feeling. ^^ As we came up to the deck, there were people praying at the small temple building. So we only had a quick look and then changed to the main hall. I had almost forgotten how impressive that one is. Another big statue, all golden and beautifully crafted. Downright wonderful.

We kept walking around the area a bit, enjoying the view and the evening air. However, soon after we had to leave again, because the temple was closing for the day. Feeling pretty spent we decided to get back to the station and return to Tokyo. That was a good decision too. On our way back we already felt so tired. -_- And we had to wait for 30 minutes for our train to arrive. Well, we found seats at the station, so we could relax a bit. On the way back I kept marvelling at hoe many people were on the train with us on the way back to Tokyo. We only just managed to save ourselves a couple of seats. And along the way more and more people kept getting in. Well, naturally in central Tokyo people will get on and off frequently, but I was surprised, because there was so much going on at smaller stations.

Once we were finally back at our "home" station, I made a tiny detour to our sweets store. I bought a pack of chocolate nuts and another pack of chocolates. I had a pre-packed set of Soba tonight, because my mom didn't want to go out for eating dinner, so I just took something that's ready to eat. And some chocolate Macadamia nuts. Yummy. :D

Right now I'm watching Fuji TV. It's Yamapi on air. XD I don't think I've seen that one. It looks interesting, though. Much more so than other stuff he's done lately (lately meaning anything later than 2008). But I really have to get some rest now. I'm totally spent and I want to get up early tomorrow. Since the weather is supposed to be exhausting, we're aiming for a visit at Asakusa pretty early and then probably Meiji Shrine around noon... and who knows what else we can do around that area. XD

Well, for now this is it. I'm so sorry that I can't provide pics, but my mom is already sleeping again and I have to wrap this up. I aim for us to get home earlier tomorrow, so I'll have the time to do things more properly.

See you around! <3

Hello, minna-san!

I guess this comes as quite a surprise. Even though I kept saying that I wanted to go to Japan and see Endless SHOCK again, I never made any plans clear. Well, things were unclear until quite shortly before we actually went, so I didn't want to announce anything without being sure about it. Gomen nasai. m(__)m Now I am here, together with my mom. As I already experienced, I feel at home immediately.

We arrived yesterday, checked in at the hotel around noon. We took an earlier flight on short notice, so we had to get a hotel room for one more night, seeing how the one we booked our stay in Tokyo for was already booked out. Well, the plus point of that was that we could visit Tokyo Tower and Zojoji right after checking in. We strolled around just a bit to relax our tense muscles. But we were so tired that after having lunch and taking a shower we took a nap of about two hours. (Is that still a nap? ^^ ) Afterwards we decided that we had to go out before going to bed for real, so we set out for Shibuya. I Showed my mom the big crossing and then we had dinner on one fo the top floors of the surrounding buildings. It was really good. A mix of pretty much everything: Pasta with tomato, a hamburger, omuraisu and panko yaki. I'm glad my mom enjoyed it. She was kind of afraid of Japanese food. XD After that we went back to our hotel to get some rest.

Today we got up a bit late. ^^" I have to find a good rhythm. Get up early. Well, we rushed to have our breakfast, which we could only just still have. Last order is set at 09:30 and we came stumbling in at around 10:33. XD I'm glad, it was still okay. So, we had a good breakfast. After that we packed our stuff and moved on to Shinjuku. Ah, Shinjuku. <3 My most beloved part of Tokyo. As for activities, since it was already noon bythe time everything was set and we were settled in, we figured that the best thing to spend the day with would be shopping. ^^

We set out to Shinjuku. First, Samantha Vega. ^_^ I found such a nice bag there and I just had to get it. Then we had a look at Isetan. It's not like either of us could actually buy anything there. XD But the food hall is just astounding, so we strolled around there. And we bought an apple pie. And a moon cake. It's moon festival weekend. I hadn't even noticed before. Well, there was a lot going on. After visiting Isetan we had a look at OIOI too. Unfortunately, there weren't any big sales. ^^" So we left again soon.

For afternoon activities we chose to visit Odaiba. Yes, again. I just really love being there. Odaiba is just fantastic for me. And we spent the rest of the day there. Fuji TV building tour, Palette town, Mega Web (although we mainly saw that one from the outside). My mom loved the Fuji TV sphere. The view is jsut fantastic. The rest of the building isn't too interesting for her, though. But we then moved on to Venus Fort, which is one of the best places for shopping that I know around here. We had a look around and then chose to eat Nabe for dinner. It was nice, but I have to say that I've eaten better versions and sadly it didn't really meet my mom's taste. I promised her that tomorrow we'll find an Italian restaurant. ^^

Well, that was pretty much today. I'm very sorry this is such a short report. I'll have to add pics tomorrow too, sorry. But it's already running pretty late and I have to get to bed in time, so I'll be able to get up earlier tomorrow. Since the weather forecast says it'll be a bright day it's day trip time. Tomorrow's location: Kamakura. :D Please wait for the report.

PS: I hope I'll find the time to write more. I've had some flashes that I really need to write down. Must be the surroundings. XD See you guys around. <3

Cheers~! (*^ o^*)/

Hello, everybody!

How are you all doing? I did not post yesterday. Well, I didn't really do anything yesterday. After being on my feet all day long for three days straight my body gave out and I couldn't really get out of bed. So I mainly enjoyed some relaxing time in front of the TV to recover. The plan was to go out today again and visit some interesting spots. Well, this plan has been changed. There's a huge snow storm raning out there and you really don't want to be out on the streets. Actually, I'm feeling a bit freaked out, because there are even regular reports on TV. Obviously transportation facilities are having trouble coping with the strong weather. So, basically my guts are one tightly twisted knot right now. The one thing I'm holding onto right now is that the weather report for tomorrow says that it's going to be sunny. Right now I can't really imagine that, but then last night I wouldn't have thought it's possible that we could have such weather as it is now. So it might just be that this will jsut fade as suddenly as it appeared. That's what I'm hopeing right now. Other than that I have to get all of my stuff together. Gotta pack wisely and get some of the heavy stuff into the small stuff that comes with me instead of checking it in.

I'm really very much looking forward to getting back home. It's been a long and intense, but beautiful journey. I really feel like going home now, though. It's about time. So, I'll finish packing all of my stuff and I'll keep my hopes up for good flying weather tomorrow. As soon as I'm back home, I'll share with you all the beautiful fan stuff that I got. :D

My next entry will be from Vienna, where I'll be spening one more night. I'll try to update quickly. ^___^

Hello, everybody!

Actually I didn't even want to go out today. My body still hurt from yesterday as I got up. >< Well, I just had to get out, though. For one, my room was being cleaned today and for another I needed food. And then I decided, since I had to get out, might as well take a short stroll around Shinjuku. Visit Mister Doughnut. Check out Kimura-kun on his huge add. Stuff like that. So I dressed myself in some freshly washed clothes and set out. I got lucky, it wasn't all that busy on the streets yet, some of the shops were even still closed. Not that I would have minded. I didn't go out to shop, after all. Well... Okay, I admit I was thinking maybe I could get myself a dashing wallet for my new handbag. ^^" It was just a thought, though, really. Even so, my way led me straight to Isetan. For those who don't know it... It's a bit difficult to explain. Think of a huge, locally famous shopping mall in your capital - that's what Isetan is in Tokyo.

I found my way around alright. Very conveniently Isetan can be reached from two of the main streets and is advertised at every corner. I remember I've been in there once before. It's even more impressive than I remember. XD Everything is huge and shiny and beautiful. *____* And expensive. O_o WOAH!!!!! I didn't look at any prices last time I went there, but really... I looked at a few nice looking wallets and I was like... Seriously, I could come back in September for SHOCK, stay a week, get the ticket for the show and visit Tower Records for that money - which seems a much better thing to do with it. ^_^ So, I didn't buy anything there. Well, I did. I went to the food hall and got myself a "Strawberry Roll", which tasted awesome, really. :D

I debated with myself whether it was even worth trying another mall, but I thought it would be okay to have a look at the OIOI accross the street. They had pretty expensive stuff too, but also at least moderate things. Still nothing that I would usually buy, but since they had a big sale, I actually found a really cute wallet that I was willing to afford. I had a look through the house, going up to the fourth floor and then moving back down from there. It's absolutely fascinating, how a single building can host so many stores. Just walking through it is amazing.

As I got out again, I actually thought about getting back hen something happened - I saw a Book Off. Really, I've got to stop looking for them. Whenever I'm just strolling around, they just keep coming my way somehow. ^^ So I went in, but they didn't have anything I was looking for. I found a Tsutaya too. There's just no JE stuff on second hand sale right now, it seems. ^^"

All of that took much longer than I had expected, so I decided I should have something to eat before I got back. Today I visited a "La Pausa". Pizza and Pasta. Is this something to do when you're in Tokyo? I do think so, because it's just so interesting. I've seen other stores, so apparently it's some kind of food chain. I was totally surprised to find that you get forks for eating there. XD It's a really nice place, though. I had a really delicious salad and a Pizza Margherita, which was good too. After lunch I headed back to the hotel. I am feeling really tired and I want to collect my strength and really go on a day tour tomorrow. So, this is today's report. No pics, sorry, because it's not allowed to take pics in the stores. I'll try to do better again tomorrow. Have a nice time, everybody!!! *hugs and cuddles*

Hello, everybody!

So, what did I do today? Well, first of all I changed places. The Celestine Hotel is really nice and I will miss the breakfast very much. ^^" But it's really expensive, so I changed back to the Hundred Stay, which is also better concerning the location when you want to spend a lot of time in Shinjuku and Harajuku. Plus, they have DVD system in their rooms, so as I write this I'm enjoying the latest Arashi DVD. MatsuJun looks *____* and Juntoshi is <3

Hello, minna!!! :D

How are you all? Phew, I am so exhausted. Today was the anniversary event of Acid Black Cherry and Breakerz. I didn't do much else today. Well, actually, I finished a story, but I'll have to post it tomorrow, it's so late now. ^^ It was good that I saved my energy, though. XD Woah, those J-Rock concerts are quite exhausting. But I'll start at the beginning.

Hello again!

So, I set out this morning to get to the airport, which was pretty much okay and not reall distressful. However, I had a lot of luggage to carry, which was exhausting. Then I bought some new gifts for my friends. ^_^ Oh yes and then I had to check up on my wound that is still not healed. Had to get bandages along the way, because the ones I took with me were in the big suitcase. It wasn't too much of a problem and I made it for the check-in alright. :D

The flight was... actually, I'm pretty sure that it was one of the worst I've ever had, but I didn't really notice it, because I found my tranquilizers (YAY!!!) and I took them throughout the flight. They made me feel quite calm. We got the "fasten seatbelts" sign two times, though. >< So, not altogether a smooth flight. It was still okay, I could even enjoy my food, which is a rare thing while I'm on a plane. ^^" Oh yes, and then something else happened. I stupidly spilled my orange juice down the leg of my jeans. Now, we were flying over Russia at the time, so it wasn't exactly warm. >< I tried to fix it with tissues, but that didn't help much. Then I had another idea. So, if something like with should ever happen to you, here's what you can do: Ask a nice flight attendent to let you use the storage room at the very back. That's about the only area that will provide you with the needed space. Get a blanked that are handed out for each flight. Pull up the leg of your pants. wrap the blanket around your leg and then carefully pull the pants back down over it. That really did the trick. Not only did the blanket keep me warm, but it also helped drying the stain. The landing was as close to pleasant as it can be for me. A good 40 minutes and we were on the ground and I hadn't lost my hearing. ^^

At the airport there was the usual check-out procedure, then getting my Railway Pass and a local phone. Next I already boarded the Narita Express that took me straight to Shinjuku. Oh, and I saw something totally amazing on my way: There was a guy, hanging on a rope and running back and forth the front of a building on which he was cleaning the windows. I've never seen such a thing before. It's too bad that such things are too spontaneous for a camera. I didn't have the time to get anything out to take a pic with. I would have loved to capture that. That guy looked like a free-climber. XDDDD A while later there was also the figure of a fairy tale dwarf with a 3 metres high cap on. Totally cool. ^^ And then Shinjuku, where I changed into the metro that got me to my hotel. It's actually funny, I only remembered that the correct line was "yellow", but that already did it and I arrived at my hotel without a problem. Well, one problem, but only as I was there. I was too early for check-in. I sat down to check a few things and I got lucky, because I could check in early. Just got myself some foods and drinks and then arranged myself in my room. It was still unexpectedly early and I was feeling so tired I was starting to get dizzy, so I set my alarm and laid myself down for a few minutes.

Just that the few minutes turned into more than two hours. I didn't hear my alarm, any messages, or calls. Long story short, I was too late, so I couldn't visit the concert today. I tried to rush over, but it was to no avail. It's really a pity, but it can't be helped. I could strain my body only that far. So I headed back and am now in my room again. I thought about going out again, but decided against it. I'm still not feeling good enough to go out. What's more, my throat is bitching a bit. I'm really thinking it's because the air on the plane was extremely dry and I simply have to get some sleep. I very much hope so too, otherwise I'll spend tomorrow morning at the hospital. >< What I'm not going to miss is tomorrow's concert, of course.

I want to apologize very sincerely once again to Ran and Kristy, both of whom I gave such a distressful time. I am really sorry that I had you wait for me like that. I promise I'll make it up to you. m(__)m

Right now I am forcing myself to stay up just a little bit longer, so I can go to bed at a reasonable time and find a good new rhythm quickly. So, I don't think I'll even make the countdown. My body is just feeling so weak, I'll go to bed as soon as it's 21:00. That should be okay for sleeping. Then I can get up in the morning and do something around the city. I definitely need a new scarf. It has already shown that it was a very bad idea to take one with synthetic fibres with me. I can't go without it for two weeks, so I have a kind of mission for tomorrow. ^^

So, no con report from me today. D: I definitely learned, though, that arriving and concert visiting on the same day are not a good idea. Last year already got to me pretty bad and this year I simply broke down. -_- Will try to take care fo my throat issue now and hope it'll be okay tomorow. I'll keep you up to date with everything.

Good night!!!! <3

Hello, everybody!

Well, it's this time of the year again. :D (The "strawberry time". XDDD )
Namely, the year is running out, New Year's Day is approaching and with it sweet Koichi's birthday. <3<3<3
Now, since I didn't have any other plans, I decided to pay KinKi Kids a visit and congratulate him in person. ^_^v (Along with over 50.000 other people, but hey, it wouldn't look so cool on the dvd with just 10 or so people, would it? XD )

So, here I am, starting my travellogue for this year. CHEEEEERS!!!!!!! \(^o^)/

I already moved myself and all of my stuff to Vienna today, because close to all over-sea flights start here. The journey with the train was really nice and I got a little KinKi mood by watching Kimi mo Domoto Family on my mobile. ^_^
As I arrived I faced a few problems, though. First, I was (still am) packed. My big suitcase, a small suitcase, my bag for the laptop and the obligatory handbag. Now, the thing is, the main station in Vienna is currently under construction, so everybody has to get off one station prior. It's not really a big deal, but I had some problems with it. ^^" Something that was really not nice was that I couldn't get "inside", it's an entirely "open-air" station, so I had to wait outside for my metro, which was bearable but not nice. But much worse - I couldn't find a toilet. >_< Now, that was really nasty, because I had decided to go at the station, because the train toilet would have been difficult to handle with all of my stuff. For everybody, who usually travels with the Shinkansen: Train toilets in Austria are about 1/3 the size of what you're used to and it's impossible to simply leave your stuff at your seat, because it's likely not all of them will still be there as you get back. (How very much I'm looking forward to Shinkansen. ^_^ )

But back to the topic, I thought it must be a joke. No toilet at a train station?! O_o (I learned now that apparently there is one somewhere, but I really couldn't see one when I was there. XD ) I had to wait a while for the metro that took me to the centre and when it arrived I almost missed it, because it was what we call a "short train" and I was standing way up front, so I almost missed it, because I didn't see it. This was my own fault, because the info on the screen said "short train", I simply didn't think that the platform was so long I could even miss the train arriving. ^^" Well, I made it. Then, moving on to the centre. There, half-way through the building I FINALLY found a toilet. I went into the direction and as I reached the door O______o S.T.A.I.R.S. Downstairs. I was like "You've got to be f*cking kidding me @___@ !!!!!" Fortunately, there was another option. I don't usually do that, but I was desperate, so I used the toilet for hadicaped people that was right there. That really totally saved me.

When I had all of my stuff together again, I went to the late-night check-in. Now this is a service that I like. When you arrive one day prior to your flight you can check in your  stuff starting 6pm in the evening. So, I did that. Now I can take a direct train to boarding tomorow, which will save me a lot of time (and allows me to write this now - otherwise I would have had to go to bed already. ^^ ) After everything was taken care of I had a quick dinner at McDonalds and then moved on to my aunt's flat, where I am allowed to stay the night. <3 This is really awesome, because it's only a few minutes walk to my train tomorrow. :D

So, now I'm here, writing this. I checked through all of my stuff and naturally I forgot a few things at home. >_<

*My cap that will keep me warm, so I'll have to buy a new one now, because it tends to be pretty windy in Nara and Kyoto.
*My gifts for Ran and Kristy. (I'm so sorry, girls!!! m(__)m  )
*My tranquilizers. I'd like to have some for the flight, maybe I'll get them somewhere tomorow. Maybe.
*Several concert downloads for my mobile. I didn't chekc at home, only just saw that I only have two concert downloads on the phone. Maybe I'll get one or two tonight and copy them.

I've got everything that's really essential, which is good. Now I'll download a little something and then go to bed. I'm really tired, it was an exhausting day. I most likely won't blog tomorow, because it's likely I won't find the time, but the day after I'll give a full concert report. ^_^

Well then, good night!!! <3 See you in Tokyo. :D
